e- Paragliding Training (EP)

Conditions for Paragliding courses
Physical fitness and sportive inclination are must to join the paragliding course . Minimum age to join is 18 years.
.Medical certificate of fitness is advisable. In case of heart, respiratory, black out or dizziness problems, seek doctor's advice before booking.
Taking of aerial photos is strictly prohibited.
The students are expected to respect the local residents and environment.
In case of loss of equipment or damage to it, due to negligence or intention, will the student have to cover the cost involved.
The student should present him/herself on the evening prior to the commencement of the course. Should he/she arrive late, full completion of training syllabus can not be guaranteed.
Confirmation of enrollment and precise address with location of meeting point will be forwarded upon reciept of application form and fees.

Day 01:
Arrival Airport.
Transferred to Hotel Inderprastha in New Delhi.

Day 02:
Free day at Delhi.
Evening departure to Manali by luxury coach. This journey takes you from the hot and populated city life of Delhi to Manali, which is one of the most beautiful hill stations of the Northern Himalayas
o/n Bus.

Day 03:
Trek through the left bank to the slopes of Solang Nala.
This 10 kilometer trek is basically undertaken to acclamatise the student with the altitude as well as giving him a picture of the traditinal ways and lifestyles of the Kullu Valley people.the trek takes you through the famous Manu Rishi temple in the old Manali village on to some small villages and apple orchards.Evening a introduction to the pilots and other staff members and an overview of the flying scenerio in the country

Day 04:
This is our first day of the course and will include Equipment familiarisation, inflation techniques and some ground runs.
The students will be briefed on the equipment they will be using and will be taken for 3 to 4 short flights in tandem shoots to give them an idea on flying.
Evening times is basically a party time consisting of folk songs and local music along with some dance welcomming the tour members.

Day 05:
This day is dedicated to inflating the shoot, practicing ground runs and hopping techniques.
Afternoon departure to Kothi for the first high flight of the course in which we will go just below Rohtang PAss to fly a 35 minute flight down to the village of Palchan overlooking the Kullu Valley.
This flight is one of the most beautiful flights of the valley. The instructor will brief you of various soaring techniques while flying around an altitude of 3500 meters.

Day 06:
This day will be one of the most important days as alpine launch(take off) and landing techniques will be demonstrated as well as practiced.
Proper Take off and landing are the two most difficult things to learn in Paragliding.
Evening will set us off to the famous hill station of manali and Nagar to stay in the castle and some cultural activities as a midway between the course.

Day 07:
Supervised solo flights and maneuvers basically practicing turns will make the students feel as if they are birds.
This is the first day where they will be able to take off all by themselves and have one of their first flights.

Day 08:
Practice Spot landings and solo flights.
The theory sessions will be teaching you basic aerodynamics and the wind conditions for flying . you will be ranked by the instructors and the certificates will be given accordingly.
Evening farewell dinner to the rest of the team except the pilots who will take you for one of the longest flights in the valley.

Day 09:
This day will be a actionpacked day taking you for a rafting trip and a jeep safari in the valley.
You will be going to the Bijli mahadev temple to have ahigh flying experience of a lifetime overlooking the Diyar , Parbati and the Kullu Valley.
Evening departure to Delhi by bus.

Day 10:
Delhi free day to visit Qutab Minar nad other areas of tourist interest and shopping.
End of the tour.
