What’s a Jeep Safari?
A Jeep Safari is a mix of culture and adventure.
These trips involve visiting remote villages,
monasteries to experience the remote culture and
people of the region as you pass through the rugged
train of the Himalayas. Jeeps accommodating a
maximum of two guests are used to organize these
tours. The guests are taken to remote destinations,
which do not always provide the best of comforts
and even lack basic facilities like good roads,
electricity and hotels. Hence, every possible
arrangement is made to make the trip as comfortable
as possible. A cook and a guide always accompany
the guests to set up camp, cook hygienic &
hot meals and take good care of your needs.
Basic accommodation is available providing facilities
like attached toilets, cozy rooms and hot water.
Camping at a scenic spot or near a water source
is done where accommodation is not available.
The guests visit remote villages, meet tribal
people and witness lifestyles and see sites that
have barely changed in centuries. These tribal
people living in the remote areas of the Indian
Himalayas bear a cultural similarity to the people
of Leh and Tibet.
